Readers in 5th-12th grade are invited to read or listen to 100 books before college and earn a new set of badges! Readers who complete the challenge will earn a completion prize. We have a list of recommended reads here. However, you may read books of your choice as well. Any books count – books, graphic novels, audiobooks, Braille books, or ebooks!
To start the challenge, simply register for the 100 Books Before College challenge on Beanstack, and begin logging books! Books that are read more than once can be counted. When you reach prize increments (25, 50, 75, and 100 books), you can stop by the library to pick up your prize. When you stop by, let the front desk staff know so we can verify which increment you’ve reached. You’ll then receive your prize!
